Practical Application of God’s Word
More than just memorizing facts about God. Much more than learning ancient history or churchy words. We believe God’s Word is true and that we should let it change our lives. We teach it with creativity and relevance. We try to live it personally.

Ongoing Relationships
Relationships with God and with each other. The kind that push, prod, and pull you to be better and think deeper. Authentic, genuine, in-your-face/got-your-back relationships.

Individual Responsibility
We are all messed up, and will continue to mess up. The Bible calls it sin. Often we try to shift the blame and attention away from ourselves, but instead we should bring it all to God. We believe we can hear from God, relate to God, and learn from God ourselves – with no middle man or translator.

New Stuff
Bigger than Christmas or birthday presents. Even bigger than the next Windows or Mac OS. ‘New’ is what God calls us to. New believers around us. New faith within us. New ministries to start. New truths to learn. The Bible is clear about this: God’s mercies are NEW…and so are the plans He has for us.

Transparency
Check your facades, phoniness and pre-conceived notions, at the door. You’re allowed to have questions, doubts, and struggles. We like it real, and we admit that sometimes that’s messy. Life doesn’t color in the lines, and that’s easier to deal with if we admit that right up front. Jesus set the standard when He said, “Come with your tired, broken, hurting lives – and I’ll give you rest.”

Energy
Wait, make that Enthusiastic Energy! Translated, that means CRANK UP THE FUN. Laughing at yourself is the first pre-requisite to any staff position here. Soaking up every ounce of life, and squeezing out every drop of joy is just what the Doctor ordered – His words, “I have come that you can have life to the fullest!”
