WHAT'S THE POINTE? -------KIDZPOINTE -------PODCAST -------GET INVOLVED -------CONTACT ---

KIDZPOINTE

Our Children’s program is every bit as important to the scope and vision of our church as the adult ministries. We believe kids need unique environments too. And we certainly believe they need to be pointed to Jesus. In fact, soon we'll be launching an entire website for this program.

What is KidzPointe?
At KidzPointe, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and leaders get involved and care. There are three basic truths that are the foundation of KidzPointe:

Pre-School
1. God made me
2. God loves me
3. Jesus wants to be my friend forever

K-5th
1. I need to make the wise choice
2. I can trust God no matter what
3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated

The focus of KidzPointe LIVE on Sunday mornings is our small group environment. We want kids to see how God’s Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last. That’s why we think it’s important to make sure each child connects with the same friends, the same leader, at the same hour.

KidzPointe goes beyond being a live event on Sundays in many ways. Each week we offer takeaways, website activities and optional monthly family packs. While we know the Sunday morning time is important, we absolutely believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church.

What time does KidzPointe happen?
Sunday mornings at 10:10am during the church service in the main auditorium.

What is a typical Sunday morning at KidzPointe LIVE?
Children are checked in through our secure drop off area and greeted by their leaders. After an
opening activity, they travel to their large group environment where they hear a Bible story,
learn about the current month’s virtue, and participate in worship in the large group setting. Children are then involved in small group discussions and activities relating to the Bible lesson
presented and the “bottom line” for that week relating to the current month’s virtue.

What type of curriculum is used?
Kids Pointe uses the "First Look" and "252 Basics" curriculums by The ReThink Group. These curriculums use a virtue-based approach to teach kids in a way that emphasizes the role of their family as well as their small group. More information and downloadable samples can be found at www.myfirstlook.com and www.252basics.com.
